Keeping with The Asylum's mainstay theme of mockbusters, it was released in the same year as the monster film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Echter The-Asylum-Trash vom Feinsten! Eine mega-dämliche Story mit teils absolut bescheuerten, teils auch ganz netten Effekten, unterlegt mit passender Musik, zwischendurch hübsche Naturaufnahmen, Schauspieler ganz okay, Synchro naja.
Teils ein wirklich ordentlicher Spannungsbogen, welcher dann von einer herrlich blödsinnigen Storywende abgelöst wird - welche mich vor Lachen auf dem Boden kugeln lässt; zwischendurch dann wieder etwas lahmes Gesülze.
Fazit: Wer Trash mag: The Asylum macht hier alles richtig - als ernsthafter Film natürlich unbrauchbar. Daher 6 von 10 trotzdem vergnüglichen Punkten - 3 herrlich bescheuerte Sterne.
